The entire USA seems to going through troubles freezing winds burning fires, the homeless insurgence, the mental health pandemic, the opioid crisis. This is why I don't watch the news.
Ever since I could even comprehend what the news anchors were even yapping about. They always made it seem like the entire world was about to die everyday but we're still here aren't we?
It's all about fear mongering and negativity. Hardly ever was there a news cast about something positive. That wouldn't keep the people returning for more, there's no suspense.
I looked at the fire maps and the only place that is burning is in the same place it always burns in the middle of nowhere. On all of the unsteady landslide prone mountain tops where all the rich idiots live and are too stubborn to relocate from.
I actually watched a documentary about the wild fires in those areas and the locals said it happens almost every year multiple times. Anyone with common sense would move but they just keep on rebuilding because they've got it like that.
I'll never understand this country.

Oh I actually agree with you when it comes to fear mongering it's just there's idiots out there that thinks it's going to be the end of the world I'm just pretty much letting people who are in South California to be safe in case if there are idiots out there making things worse for them over here in Michigan we have to deal with snow and ice and storms all the time it's not new for us we still have to deal with idiots regardless of what's been happening with crazy weather. we've been pretty much been dealing with these kinds of things before. I'm just letting the people know to be safe and listen to the warnings if they're under fire watch.
